Theatre is a multi-sensory experience, and each person experiences it differently. It transports its viewer to a whole new world. The overall site aims to provide the visitor with a series of individual and group multi-sensory experiences, as they traverse the landscape. An array of promenades provides a variety of unique paths for guests to explore on their way to the Theatre. Subdivided into a series of park islands, a new type of public realm is introduced to the City. Although the site is divided by the canals, the water becomes a unifying element to the overall composition, providing waterside access as well as diversity of journeys throughout. The irregular pattern of bridges linking the islands connect multiple passages into an almost limitless number of adventures.
